RAH FLYNN FINE ART

Rah is a prize-winning X-Ray, Surgical and instillation Artist and practising Diagnostic Radiographer. She uses her art to challenge fear, exploring perception through the quiet lens of monochrome. 

From iodine enhanced x-rayed botanicals to neurosurgical dexterity, Rah's work is unusual and compelling. In floral pieces Rah strips away the external attractive vibrancy and finery to reveal the inner workings and peaceful beauty within. She invites viewers to face the grey areas inside themselves, making friends with the past and finding beauty there. Surgical works take the viewer into the operating theatre during surgery, connecting with the hands that heal.
